I used a chisel to forge in and establish the center line, then hammer textured the entire piece. Next, I forged out a decorative scroll on the tip of the leaf. I then used a swage to to sink parts of the leaf and create a small bowl! Finally, I wire wheeled the whole thing clean and blackened it with heat and beeswax.
