Custom Order Instructions

We’ve created this order form to help make your custom knife decisions easier. Once we receive your order, we’ll reach out as soon as possible to confirm the details. We’ll also let you know which handle options we have available. If you have something specific in mind that we don't have in stock, we can order it for a small additional fee.

Important Information:

  • Deposit: A 20% deposit is required for all custom orders. Your order will be confirmed and added to our schedule once payment is received.

  • Order Confirmation: Once payment is received, your order is officially placed in our schedule.

  • First-Come, First-Serve: Orders are typically completed in the order they are received, but we strive to meet deadlines whenever possible.

  • Upgrades: Housemade Damascus steel is available for an additional fee.


Customization Options:

We offer several blade styles and designs that can be customized with different finishes, handle materials, and in some cases, the grind style of the knife. Any customizations outside these designs will require further discussion and may incur a $50 upcharge.

A classic all-purpose knife, perfect for general kitchen use. It’s a versatile tool that suits both professional chefs and home cooks.

Western Chef

$350 Base Charge

Ideal for those who enjoy a larger knife with a pronounced rocking motion while cutting. It offers a powerful and effective cutting experience.

Petty

$300 Base Charge

A smaller, easy-to-maneuver knife, perfect for detailed tasks and quick prep work.

Paring Knife

$150 Base Charge

Designed for smaller kitchen tasks, such as peeling fruits and vegetables, with precision and ease.


Handle Styles

All handles are rounded for comfort and easy grip. The East Meets West style incurs a $50 upcharge for the most ergonomic grip.

Western Grip

All-around ergonomic, contoured grip.

Simple Curve

Facilitates easier chopping and a smoother rocking motion.

Wa Style

A stable grip that promotes ease of chopping and rocking motion.

The most aesthetically pleasing and stable carving knife option. Incurs a $50 up-charge for the most ergonomic grip.


Finishes

Belt Finish

Available with or without mustard patina. An economical finish with a cloudy matte look.

Hand Sanded


Finish

A high-shine finish that enhances the blade's appearance. Incurs a $50 up-charge.

Wa Knife Grip

Forged Finish

with Hammered-in Distal Tapers. An artistic finish providing the best weight distribution along the blade. Incurs a $100 up-charge.


Custom Field Knives

These knives are designed for outdoor and utility tasks. The handles aren’t as interchangeable as kitchen knives, but the same blade finish options are available.

Harvest Knife

Base price $150

Best for gardening and mushroom hunting.

Wharncliffe

Base price $150

Ideal for everyday tasks like opening boxes and cutting paracord.

Rain Drop
Neck Knife

Base price $150

Suitable for everyday tasks and can be worn as a necklace.

Iron Age

Base price $125

A versatile knife for everyday tasks, inspired by historical designs.

Note: EDCs are around 3” cutting edge, while the neck knife has a 2” cutting edge. Including the handle, the total length is 5.5”.
