To make this candle holder, I split the tip of the spike then draw out both tines to a fine point. Then, I arch the spike area and hammer the tines into scrolls. Next, I forge the edges down on the actual candle holder and dish it to hold a tea light candle. Lastly, I rivet the two pieces together and blacken them with heat and beeswax.
