I forged this from a high(er) carbon rail road spike. I forged this the same way I would an integral blade, spreading the heel out wide from the parent stock. I very deeply chiseled the Algiz rune into the blade and, on the other side, you’ll find my makers mark. The original stamp from its previous life as a RR spike is still on the nail head.
